
Kamloops Crane Training Schools - We have designed several programs for Mobile Crane Operation at our Crane Training Schools. These programs are recommended for the experienced operator who requires certification or re-certification, and for inexperienced operator who is searching for work in the business. Positions for crane operators are high because of their high pay. Operators of cranes are among the highest paid of whichever operator of heavy machinery.
Our Crane Operator training offers instruction for a variety of mobile cranes. Course subject includes Wire Rope, Crane Set-up, Load Dynamics, Lift Planning, Rigging, Signaling and Load Charts.
The program is best for crane riggers, operators as well as their supervisors. The materials included in the course would consist of a guidebook and various useful handouts. The illustrated safety manual consists of one hundred to two hundred fifty pages, depending on the course, of vital and useful material. Course materials comprise load exercises and load charts for the crane with which the trainee is working.
Hands-On Safety Training would take up over half of the course curriculum. The practical training section is the most helpful method to improving and developing personal skill levels. Only experienced journeyman crane instructors are chosen to teach the courses. Our instructors have numerous years of business experience.
For all the course we offer, we can include optional testing mechanisms to customize your training. A test for skills is usually administered for programs which include H.O.S.T. People training will be graded and tested.
