Theory Programs
The crane training school features a strong grounding in theory related to power-line safety, regulations, inspection and site hazards involved in crane operation. Individuals training will obtain knowledge of rigging, hardware applications and load charts. Quizzes and direct feedback during the course will help people training solidify their knowledge.
The theory topics comprise: Introduction to crane certification process; safety fundamentals for crane operators; rigging knowledge; crane operation knowledge; communications knowledge; crane pre-trip inspections & set-up, and crane maintenance and service.
Practical Programs
The crane training school comprises practical training involving hands-on learning. This part teaches trainees how to identify crane terminology and components. People training will have the opportunity to perform skills needed for crane operating, signaling and rigging.
Practical course topics: Learn crane terms; identify crane components and functions; identify rigging and wire ropes; utilize remote control; pre-use inspection on crane; identify documents and regulations for rigging and wire rope; use hand signals and radio; carry out right lifting and lowering of loads and carry out rigging methods.
